The University Miguel Hernández of Elche is a public university that is run by Jesús Rodriguez Marín. His goal is to continue the university's history of attaining the best education possible for its students. Professor Jesus Rodriguez Marin is full professor of Heath Social Psychology; he is member of the European Health Psychology Society; member of American Psychological Association; fellow of Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues; and President of Spanish Health Psychology Society. He is consulting editor of Health Psychology Review and of Journal of Health Psychology; and is director of Revista de Psicología de la Salud/Spanish Journal of Health Psychology.

Prof. José J.Mira is Adjunct Professor; President of Sub-commission for Scientific Expost Evaluation, integrated in the Technical Commission of Evaluation 6 of the Institute of  Health Studies `’Carlos III’ (Ministry of Science and Innovation); Specialist in Clinical Psychology; Specialist in Health Organization; and European expert in Management of Quality in the Sanitary Sector (AEC 2010).

Qualifications and contribution to the project
Professor Rodriquez-Marin and Professor Mira are experts on the assessment of patients’ views on health care and health care organisation. They have performed both qualitative and quantitative research in this field, and in addition they have published papers in peer-reviewed journals on psychological aspects of diseases, health care services quality, occupational quality of life in health settings, and doctor-patient communication.
